Privacy notice

This notice explains how ITG (Innovate, Transform and Grow) handles personal data when you visit this website, join our parents WhatsApp group or take part in our club for 9 to 14 year olds on the Wirral.

We write for parents. Nothing on this site asks a child for information.

Who we are

ITG is the trading name of Evohuman Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16932093). Registered office: 17 Arrowe Road, Greasby, Wirral, CH49 1RB.

Evohuman Ltd is the data controller for personal data used to run the club and this website. That means we decide how and why that information is used.

Questions about this notice, or about your data, should go through our parents WhatsApp group. That is our contact channel for privacy requests.

This website

This website is a static information page. It has no accounts, no forms, no newsletter signup and no chat widget.

We do not set cookies on this site. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, heatmaps or other behavioural tracking. We do not fingerprint your device.

Fonts, images and scripts are served with the site itself. We do not load fonts or tracking scripts from third-party CDNs.

Like most websites, the host that serves these pages may keep short-lived technical logs (for example IP address, browser type and the page requested) so the service can run securely. Those logs are used for hosting and security, not for marketing, and we do not use them to identify you as a parent or a child.

What we collect from parents

When you join our parents WhatsApp group, Meta (WhatsApp) processes the phone number and profile details you already use with WhatsApp, under Meta’s own terms. We use the group only to announce pilot dates, answer questions, share club updates and arrange places. It is a parents group. We never contact children through it.

If you book a pilot or a paid module, we may also hold the parent details needed to run the session safely and to take payment. That typically includes:

  • Your name and a way to reach you (usually the WhatsApp number you already use with us)
  • Your child’s first name, age or year group, and any information you choose to give us about allergies, medical needs or support needs
  • Emergency contact details you provide
  • Attendance records for modules you book
  • Photo consent choices you make in writing

What we collect from children

We do not collect email addresses or personal logins from children. Children do not create accounts with us. Club tools run on shared club accounts with age-appropriate guardrails, facilitated at all times.

We may keep first names and session notes that help us run the programme safely (for example who attended, what they worked on and any support need a parent has told us about). We do not build marketing profiles of children.

Why we use this information

We use parent and child information only to:

  • Run pilot sessions and paid modules safely
  • Keep in touch with parents about dates, places and practical arrangements
  • Arrange payment for a paid module through Stripe
  • Meet our safeguarding and insurance responsibilities
  • Respect photo consent choices on this site and in club materials

Lawful bases

For booking, running sessions, payment and related parent communication, we rely on contract (or steps you ask us to take before a contract) and on our legitimate interests in running a safe, facilitated club.

For health, allergy or support information you give us, we use it only with your consent or where we need it to protect a child’s vital interests or to meet a safeguarding duty.

For photographs of identifiable children on this site or in club materials, we rely on written parent consent. You can withdraw that consent; we will remove the image from active use and from the site repository history where it was committed.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We do not share children’s data for advertising.

We may share information with:

  • WhatsApp / Meta, for messages in the parents group you choose to join
  • Our website host, for serving this page and keeping it secure
  • Stripe, when you pay for a module by card. Card numbers and payment details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us. Stripe’s own privacy notice covers how long they keep that data. Settled funds then reach the club’s business bank account with Revolut
  • Insurers, professional advisers or authorities where the law or a safeguarding duty requires it

How long we keep it

We only keep personal data for as long as we need it. We do not store card numbers or other payment instrument details. Those stay with Stripe (and bank settlement with Revolut) under their own retention rules. As a guide for what we hold ourselves:

  • Booking and attendance records: while your child is with us, then up to two years after their last session
  • Photo consent forms: for as long as we use the photo, then at least two years after we stop using it
  • Safeguarding concern records: five years, or longer only if English law requires a longer minimum for that record
  • WhatsApp messages: until you leave the group or the group is closed; Meta’s own rules also apply

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you or your child, to restrict or object to certain uses and to receive a copy of information you provided to us in a portable form where that right applies.

You can also withdraw consent where we rely on consent (for example photo use). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we already did lawfully before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, message us in the parents WhatsApp group. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data: ico.org.uk.

Children and this site

This website is written for parents. It is not a child-facing product. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information somehow, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If how we handle data changes in a way that matters, we will update this notice and change the date at the top. For significant changes we will also say so in the parents WhatsApp group.
